‘Toon time at MCM London as top voice actors sign up for May show

MCM London Comic Con – We’re thrilled to announce that a quartet of amazing voice talents – Mass Effect’s FemShep Jennifer Hale, Disney star Jim Cummings, South Park’s April Stewart and Animaniacs actor and voice of Crash Bandicoot Jess Harnell – will be joining us at MCM London Comic Con this May.

Recognised by Guinness World Records as the ‘Most Prolific Voice Actress in Video Games’, Jennifer Hale is probably best known for playing ‘FemShep’, the female Commander Shepard in Bioware’s acclaimed Mass Effect franchise. Other top titles that Hale has voiced characters for include Baldur’s GateMetroid PrimeMetal Gear SolidSpider-ManBioShock Infinite and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, while cartoon fans will know Jennifer as The Legend of Korra’s Avatar Kyoshi.

Garnering over 500 credits during the course of an illustrious career, Jim Cummings is one of Disney’s go-to voice stars. As well as playing Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Darkwing Duck, he has appeared in major movies such as AladdinThe Lion KingHerculesThe Hunchback of Notre DamePocahontasWreck-It Ralph and Minions, not to mention Disney’s dub of Miyazaki’s Laputa: Castle in the Sky. Other roles include Hondo Ohnaka in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels, and fan favourite Minsc in the Baldur’s Gate series.

Jess Harnell is most famous for voicing the goofy Wakko in fourth-wall busting Warner Bros. cartoon Animaniacs and protagonist Crash in the long-running Crash Bandicoot video game series. Harnell also provided the voices of Ironhide and Barricade in Michael Bay big screen blockbusters Transformers and Transformers: Dark of the Moon, while his many cartoon appearances include Rick and MortyAdventure TimeKulipari: An Army of Frogs and Biker Mice from Mars.

If you’re a fan of South Park, you’ll know April Stewart! Not only does she play Stan’s beret-wearing love interest Wendy Testaburger in Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s controversial cartoon series, but Stewart also voices characters such as Liane Cartman, Sharon Marsh, Carol McCormick, Shelley Marsh, Mayor McDaniels and Principal Victoria. April’s other TV and videogame roles include Petra Venj in Destiny and Raava and Fire Lord Izumi in The Legend of Korra.
